Overnight flight to London, England.

Arrive in London, ENGLAND

A morning city tour includes the Tower of London with its priceless jewels and St. Paul's Cathedralthe world's second biggest cathedral. After lunch in China Town, we visit the splendid British Museum with its art treasures, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, the Houses of Parliament and Trafalgar Square.

LondonParis, FRANCE

 

Firstly, we will take a short channel tunnel crossing by Le Shuttleto France.  We will be heading south to arrive at Paris for a guided tour of the Louvre Museum with its 3 highlights: sculptures Venus and Winged Victory, and Da Vinci's Mona Lisa. In the evening, we will enjoy an optional tour of the Seine River Cruise or the Eiffel Tower.

ParisVersailles, FRANCE

 

After breakfast, we will take a short drive to the Palace of Versailles to see its collections of paintings, furniture and royal gardens. Then we will return to Paris for a tour of the Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysees, Concord Square, Arc de Triomphe and Notre Dame in the afternoon.

ParisLuzern, SWITZERLAND

 

On the way to Luzern, we will take a fast ride skirting the vineyards of Burgundy and Fontainebleau Forest. Highlights of the lakeside medieval town, Luzern, with its Chapel Bridge, Water Tower and Lion Monument are featured on this afternoon's orientation.

LuzernMilan, ITALY

 

We will continue our city tour or take an optional tour of Rhine Fall this morning. Then, we head south to dynamic Milan.  Its magnificent Gothic Duomo, glass-domed Galleria, and famous Scala Opera House are remarkable sights.

7 MilanPisaFlorence, ITALY

We will drive through breathtaking scenery to Pisa to view the Leaning Tower before we arrive in Florence, the Cradle of Renaissance.  A city tour on foot includes Michelangelo Square, Old Palace, Old Bridge, Signoria Square and Duomo, the biggest dome in the world. The rest of the day is free to shop for leather and gold.

8 Florence Rome, ITALY

This morning, we proceed to Rome. City tour starts with St. Peter's Cathedral in Vatican. Later on, we visit the Forum, Arch of Victory, Coliseum, Trevi Fountain and Pantheon.

9 Rome Venice, ITALY

From the eternal city, we speed north to Venice. Upon arrival, we will embark on a canal cruise to see St. Mark's Cathedral, Doge's Palace, Bridge of Sighs and a glass-blowing factory.

10 VeniceVienna, AUSTRIA

In the morning, we will proceed to Austria where we could have an Austrian lunch. Later, we will experience the River Danube and baroque elegance of Vienna. You may join an optional Johan Strauss Waltz concert in the evening.

11 ViennaBudapest, HUNGARY

Highlights abound on the sightseeing tourState Opera, Hofburg, Town Hall, Parliament House and Schonbrunn Palace. Then we will travel east across the border to Hungary. After lunch, en route to Budapest, Capital of Hungary, where we will see the coronation church of St Matthias, the Fisherman's Bastion, Buda Palace and ascending Tadel for a panoramic view.  You may have an optional folklore dinner show at a local Hungarian restaurant.

In the morning, we drive to Salzburg, birthplace of Mozart, and the location for the filming of "The Sound of Music". Our sightseeing tour on foot reveals many highlights of the Old Town.

Take return flight from Munich, Germany.

First, we travel to Munich where orientation shows us the Marienplatz and the world famous Hofbrauhaus before going to Heidelberg, on the River Neckar. We will view the magnificent red sandstone castle from the university town of "Student Prince" fame before going to our hotel near Frankfurt.

14 HeidelbergCologneAmsterdam, HOLLAND

After breakfast, we drive to Rhineland where we will see the crumbling castles and vineyards. Then, we stop in Cologne to see the Gothic Cathedral. Later we continue to Amsterdam, Holland's 700 year-old capital. Upon arrival, orientation shows us the Royal Palace, Dam Square, China Town and a canal cruise. Then, we will pay an inside visit to a Diamond Polishing Factory.

15 Amsterdam Brussels London, ENGLAND

A morning drive to Brussels - Capital of Belgium, taking a picture of Atomium before visiting the Grand Place and Manneken Pis. Then, a short drive to Calais for an exciting Sea Cat fast ferry ride (or deluxe ferry) across the Channel to England.

After breakfast, we will transfer to the airport for our return flight to U.S.A.
