2 | Arrive Beijing Upon arrival, you'll be met at airport and transferred to your luxury hotel. |
3 | On your tour, visit the Forbidden City, a huge complex of palace, pavilions, courtyards and gardens. Walk through nearby Tian'anmen Square, site of many history-making events. Enjoy a famous Quanjude Peking Duck lunch, then visit Beijing's famous Temple of Heaven. You could also take the chance to watch the Acrobatic Show in the evening. |
4 | Built over 2000 years ago, the Great Wall embodies the magnificence and resilience of Chinese culture. Spanning thousands of miles across five provinces and two autonomous regions, the Great Wall can be seen even from the moon. We descend the Great Wall to visit the emperors' Summer Palace, a place of rest and recreation for the royal families as far back as a thousand years ago. |
5 | Your journey continues with a flight to Xian, the ancient capital city for 11 dynasties in Chinese history. Get a feel for this medieval metropolis as you take in the view from the old city walls, with a tour of the Big Wild Goose pagoda, a seven-story structure offering spectacular views of the ancient walled city and the four city gates. Enjoy a dumpling dinner banquet, followed by an on-stage show of Tang Dynasty dance and music. |
6 | After breakfast, visit the Tomb of Emperor Qin Shi Huang and see the awesome Terra-Cotta Warriors and Horses, widely regarded as the eighth wonder of the world. After lunch, visit Hua Qin Spring Pool, the favorite resort of the famous lady Yang, one of the four great beauties in Chinese history, and the Neolithic Banpo Village. |
| 7 | Xian - Chongqing - Yangtze Cruise After breakfast, fly to Chongqing and visit the Stillwell Museum, Erling park, then to experience the preserved but still active ancient village-Ciqikou Town. Later, board your deluxe cruise ship for your cruise on the fabled Yangtze river. |
| 8 | Yangtze Cruise - Wanxian- Fengdu or Shibaozhai Depending on river traffic and water levels, travel to Wanxian, Fengdu or Shibaozhai. In Wanxian, visit the local market and be entertained by an acrobatic show. In the " Ghost Town" of Fengdu, tour the temples on Mingshan Hill, or in an alternative shore excursion-Shibaozhai, see the temple built on the sheer cliff of the river. |

Also journey by riverboat to the enchanting Shennong Stream, one of China's most scenic areas, or in an alternative shore excursion-White King Town. |
10 | Yangtze Cruise-Three Gorges Dam-Yichang-Wuhan This morning, visit the impressive constrution site of the Three Gorges Dam. Continue your cruise through the Xiling Gorge to Yichang. Disembark and drive to Wuhan, where you will have a city tour if time permits. |
11 | Wuhan-Shanghai After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Shanghai. Shanghai, China's largest city (home to 14 million people), is also China's principal port on a deep estuary of the Yangtze River. Often regarded as "the Paris of the East", Shanghai has retained the flavor of its past European influences. Visit the Bund, the famous riverfront promenade lined with grand historic buildings from the city's colonial past. Tour the old Town with its winding alleyways, lined with shops, tea houses and restaurants. Explore the elegant and tranquil Yu Yuan Gardens, an example of garden architecture from the Ming Dynasty. |
12 | Shanghai - Suzhou-Shanghai Enjoy an excursion to Suzhou, also know as the "City of Silk" or "Venice of the East". Suzhou is famous for its silk industry, grand canals and elaborate gardens. |
13 | Shanghai-Guilin Transfer to the airport for a flight to the city of Guilin, famous for its picturesque limestone peaks and rivers. Visit the reed flute Cave, a fairyland of limestone and light known as the "art gallery of nature". Attend a " Garden Night" folk dance and music performance in the evening. |
14 | Guilin Today you will take a relaxing cruise on the Li river to Yangshuo. Enjoy the haunting beauty of the mist-wrapped monolithic peaks along the riverbanks en route. Return to Guilin by bus. Take a tour of Elephant Trunk Hill, and attend a farewell dinner with your tour members in the evening. |
15 | Guilin-Hong Kong Depart Guilin and head towards Hong Kong, the "Jewel of the Orient". Upon arrival, we transfer to our five-star accommodation and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. |
