GENERAL INFORMATION AND CONDITIONS
E–Z Holidays, as tour operator, acts only as an agent for contracted services. All travel arrangements included in the trip are made on participant's behalf upon the express condition that neither E–Z Holidays nor its agents shall be liable or responsible in the absence of its (or their) negligence for any direct, indirect, consequential, or irregularity of any kind which may be accessioned by reason of any act or omission of any person or entity, including without limitation, any act of negligence or breach of contract of any third party such as an airline, train, motor coach, private car, cruise vessel, boat, or any other conveyance, hotel, sightseeing provider, local ground-handler, etc., which is to or does supply any goods or services for this trip. Participant understands that E–Z Holidays neither owns nor operates such third party suppliers and accordingly agrees to seek remedies directly and only with those suppliers and nor hold E–Z Holidays responsible for their acts, omissions or commissions. Without their limiting the foregoing, E–Z Holidays and its agents are not responsible for any losses or expenses due to delay or changes of schedule, overbooking of accommodations, default of any third parties, sickness, weather, strike, acts of God, acts of terrorism, force majored, acts of government’s civil disturbances, war, quarantine, customs regulations, epidemics, criminal activity or for any other cause beyond its control. All such losses or expenses have to be borne and paid for by the participant.
E–Z Holidays accepts no responsibility for value, reliability, quality or authenticity of any goods purchased while on tour or for any mailing, freight or shipping arrangements. E–Z Holidays reserves the right to decline to accept, or retain any person as tour participant, should such person’s health, mental condition, physical infirmity or general deportment impede the operation of the tour or the rights, welfare or enjoyment of other tour participant.
Baggage is carried at owner’s risk and baggage insurance is strongly recommended. E–Z Holidays is not responsible for typographical or printing errors or omissions in the brochure. E–Z Holidays accepts no responsibility for cost, which may occur as result of a participant failing to secure adequate insurance coverage, which coverage is highly recommended. Generally, your health insurance does not cover expenses outside the USA. E–Z Holidays is not responsible for participant’s visa or passport requirements, nor will a refund of unused services be made, nor reimbursement of any additional expenditure if a participant is denied entry to a country for this or any other reasons.
The general conditions under which you agree to utilize the services of E–Z Holidays may not be amended in any way, except in writing, by an authorized officer of E–Z Holidays. By utilizing the services of E–Z Holidays, you agree that the exclusive venue for all claims shall be the County of Los Angeles, State of California, and such claims shall be determined according to the laws and jurisdiction of the State of California.
The issuance of tickets and vouchers shall be deemed to be consent to the above conditions and to these terms and conditions.
Tour prices are based on costs, charges, tariffs rates, prices, taxes, levies, and exchange rates. No surcharges with respect of cost or currency fluctuations will be made once payment for the deposit of your land tour is received. This does not apply to fuel charges and any taxes, charges or levies imposed by any Government or their agencies.
Child reductions are available on selected tours.
Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. (Children must be 8 years of age to travel to Africa). Passengers with disabilities are welcome, providing they are accompanied by a companion capable of providing all assistance required, and do not require special assistance from E-Z Holidays personnel. E-Z Holidays reserves the right to refuse to carry anyone, it is felt cannot cope with the requirements of coach tour travel and who may require services and facilities that E-Z Holidays cannot guarantee will be available. You agree to not hold the E-Z Holidays responsible for any decision made by any service provider to refuse to carry you, provide any facilities or accommodation to you or to provide any service to you.
E-Z Holidays constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond E-Z Holidays' control make changes necessary – E-Z Holidays reserves the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages. On tours that include cruises the ship may be changed due to operational reasons.
Smoking is strictly prohibited on the coach, however, regular comfort stops are made on traveling days.
E- Z Holidays reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure of the tour E-Z Holidays' only liability will be to refund the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. E-Z Holidays will try to re-book the same or similar tour and, where flights have been confirmed by E-Z Holidays, will attempt to confirm air seats for new dates selected, subject to availability.
E-Z Holidays is not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to cancellations.
If you have arranged with E-Z Holidays to remain at a destination after the termination on your tour, please understand your tour will be at your sole expense as is the transfer to the airport for your return flight.
Once you have paid your deposit in full, the land tour price confirmed to you by E-Z Holidays tour counselor is guaranteed (excluding fuel surcharges and government taxes).
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE TOUR PRICE
Inter-city Travel: By private motorcoach, trains, and ferries (see itineraries).
Touring: By deluxe air-conditioned motorcoaches with reclining seats for maximum comfort.
Hotel Accommodation: Prices per person are based on two persons sharing a twin-bedded room with private bath or shower.
Cruises: Per person prices are based on two persons sharing a cabin with two berths, private shower and toilet. A limited number of single cabins are available at an extra cost.
Tour Director: Escorted tours are conducted in English only by a professional Tour Director.
Meals: Meals included as detailed on itineraries.
Sightseeing: Excursions and entrance fees to places of interest visited as detailed on each itinerary with an English-speaking guide where necessary.
Transfers: Between airports, hotels, and piers where indicated on the tour itinerary.
Porterage: Baggage handling for one suitcase per person on tour is included on the tour price. Due to limited coach capacity, this single bag should have dimensions not exceeding 30"x 18"x 10" and weight not exceeding 60lbs (27 kg). These restrictions are subject to change and need to be verified with E-Z Holidays tour counselor at the time of booking. A charge of US $3-4 per traveling day will be collected by the Tour Director if a second piece of baggage is carried, or if the suitcase exceeds the established weight and/or dimensions.

Please note: Should a "roll-away" bed be required, there will be a additional charge payable directly to the hotel, and cannot be guaranteed to be available. Substitute hotels may be used at certain times and will be of similar standard whenever possible. Please note that single rooms will generally be smaller than twin-bedded rooms. There are a limited number of "twin-shared" rooms available with our roommate matching service. Passengers who are members of Hotel Frequent Traveler programs are not entitled to earn points with any of the hotels featured on a E-Z Holidays tour.
Port charges, government fees and taxes on cruises are subject to change without notice.
WHAT'S NOT INCLUDED IN THE TOUR PRICE
Passport and Visa fees, insurance of all kinds, laundry, phone calls, beverages, meals not detailed in the itinerary, tips to Tour Directors, motorcoach drivers and local city guides, items of a personal nature, excess baggage, optional excursions, etc. The tour price also does not cover costs and expenses, including the return to your home, if you leave the tour at your own volition, or due to an illness, or as a consequence of official action by the government of any country visited.
RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENT
E-Z Holidays accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Your payment is not deemed made until it is received by E-Z Holidays.
A deposit of $200 per person per tour is required for E-Z Holidays to hold seats for you.
The deposit forms part of your final payment and if not received within 7 days of booking, the reservation will automatically be cancelled. On certain departures, deposits may be required to hold seats at time of booking.
The final payment is due 45 days prior (except for the Alaskan cruise where payment is required 60 days prior) to departure.
E-Z Holidays reserves the right to cancel the reservation and impose cancellation charges should payments not be received within the above specified periods.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
Travel documents will be sent to you approximately 14 days prior to tour departure (providing full payment has been received). If you are leaving home earlier please notify E-Z Holidays tour counselor. E-Z Holidays will assess a $15 fee to provide travel documents earlier than 21 days prior to departure.
BOOKING CHANGES, CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
Booking Changes: A fee of $30 per transaction will be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after booking is confirmed.
Note: Cancellation fees will be charged if you cancel your entire tour package to reschedule for a different date.
CANCELLATIONS AND CANCELLATION FEES:
If notice of cancellation is received by E-Z Holidays 45 days or more prior to departure, the tour fare is fully refundable before tickets are issued.
- If full payment is not received 45 days prior to departure the Airline has the right to cancel your air reservation. Regrettably, if payment is not received, E-Z Holidays will not be responsible for lost reservations.
- Notice of cancellation must be made in writing directly to E-Z Holidays tour counselor.
- The following scale of cancellation charges will apply when notice of cancellation is given after the booking is confirmed:
- 44-22 days prior to departure: 25% of total price
- 21-8 days prior to departure: 30% of total price
- 7-1 days prior to departure: 50% of total price
- Day of departure/No show: 100% of total price
Please Note: The definition for departure is the first start date indicated on E-Z Holidays' confirmation.
- Airline Flights: If flight changes are requested after the deposit has been received, or if flights are cancelled after tickets are issued, revision fees, change fees, or Airline cancellation charges will be applicable and may be in addition to the above cancellation charges.
- These cancellation fees also apply to additional accommodation reserved prior to and after the tour.
REFUNDS AND PENALTIES:
- Illness or Absenteeism: In the event your withdrawal from the tour after commencement for reasons of illness, you must obtain a medical certificate in support of any insurance claim. E-Z Holidays regrets that no refunds can be made for absences from a tour, including but not limited to, missed meals or sightseeing. E-Z Holidays makes no representation or guarantees concerning reimbursements of funds paid by you under any insurance claim.
- Air & Land Packages: These packages are based on non-refundable airfares. If flight changes requested after the deposit has been received, or if flights are cancelled after tickets are issued, change fees or airline penalties will be applicable.
- Airline Seating: Tour members are requested to contact the Airline(s) for seating arrangements 30 days prior to departure. Seating is solely under control of the Airline. Flight delays are the sole responsibility of the Airline.
- Airlines & Airfares: No refund will be made for cancelled air tickets on air inclusive bookings until tickets are returned to E-Z Holidays. Refunds for tour portion will only be processed after return of documents to E-Z Holidays. Please ensure that returned tour documents which contain airline tickets are sent by certified or registered mail. Lost ticket replacement can take up to 1 year and processing fees can be assessed.
- Airline & Airport Taxes and Charges: All taxes, security charges, any other type of taxes or charges imposed by Airlines, Airports, Government, etc. are not included in the tour price.
Note: If a promotional airfare is broken or extended for any reason an additional cost may be incurred. Airfares are subject to change at any time. Changes to flight itineraries and name changes may result in penalties charged by the Airline concerned and passed on to the passenger.
BEFORE YOU JOIN YOUR TOUR
Passports & Visas: You are responsible for all visas, entry, health and other requirements and any documents required by laws, regulations, orders and/or requirements of countries visited. Please call your E-Z Holidays tour counselor for more information.
The operators and/or their agents are not responsible for passport, visa requirements, entry, health or other requirements of the countries visited or for any loss sustained by you for failing to comply with laws, regulations, orders, and/or requirements of countries visited.
Travel Documents: Please read the documents and tour literature which are sent to you, before departure - they contain a wealth of advice and essential information to make your vacation as enjoyable as possible.
Holidays & Changes: During local or national holidays abroad, certain facilities such as museums, sightseeing tours and shopping may be limited. In such instances, and whenever possible, slight itinerary adjustments are made by E-Z Holidays to minimize inconvenience to tour members. If, however, your enjoyment might be diminished by such minor limitations, please check with E-Z Holidays tour counselor before selecting a departure. Holidays, closing days and other circumstances may change the day of the week for sightseeing and other activities.
Air Conditioning: Please be advised that foreign air conditioning systems in public places, ships, hotels, and motorcoaches are not up to USA standards.
Plan Your Budget: You are advised to do this well in advance and be sure to allocate funds for special events while on tour, such as Concerts, Shows, celebration meals, shopping and side trips, and additional optional tours.
ADDITIONAL OPTIONAL TOURS
With E-Z Holidays, you will enjoy many of the world's famous highlights as included features on your tour - at no extra cost. However, there is an exciting array of Additional Highlight Excursions which we make available to further enhance your enjoyment.
These excursions are optional, and are offered at special preferential prices on selected tours only. They can only be booked once you have started your tour, as they are carefully programmed to coincide with the best highlights available at the time of your visit.
